Simply present your passport and a valid boarding pass each time you make a purchase to enjoy all the privileges of shopping duty free at The Shilla Duty Free stores.
For liquids, aerosols, and gels bought from Cosmetics & Perfumes stores at Changi Airport that are not more than 100ml each: Your purchase will be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity not exceeding 1-litre. Each passenger is allowed to carry only one transparent re-sealable plastic bag. These re-sealable bags will be provided by The Shilla Duty Free.
For liquids, aerosols, and gels bought from Cosmetics & Perfumes stores at Changi Airport that are more than 100ml; The Shilla Duty Free will place your purchase in a sealed tamper-evident bags (STEB), with the receipt clearly displayed in the sealed bags. You should only open your STEB after clearing immigration at your final destination country.

On the first of every month, we do a price adjustment to ensure the lowest price guaranteed for Cosmetics & Perfumes at The Shilla Duty Free at Changi Airport in comparison to 9 selected airports (Seoul Incheon, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Hong Kong International, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta, Shanghai Pudong, Beijing Capital, Taipei Taoyuan, Frankfurt and London Heathrow) as well as selected leading departmental stores. The price increase could be due to currency fluctuation, hence resulting in the increase in prices of some products by brand.
Prices at The Shilla Duty Free are mainly determined by 2 factors, the foreign exchange currency conversion and product brand prices are controlled by individual brands. We do offer attractive in-house promotions for all our valuable customers so that you get to enjoy the ultimate savings.
You will be able to enjoy up to 40% savings compared to local major department stores and Asia-Pacific Airports.

4f. Can I do a refund if the product purchased at The Shilla Duty Free Singapore is more expensive than purchases in other Asia-Pacific Airports?
Yes, a refund is possible as long as it complies within the 30 Days refund policy. Do note that item has to be in a resalable condition (unopened and unused) together with the proof of purchase. If the price is found to be more expensive, we will refund 2x the price difference to you. 2x Price Difference Policy is also applicable for online purchases on iShopChangi portal.
4g. Is there a difference in price if I shop at The Shilla Duty Free Singapore and The Shilla Duty Free Korea?
Price difference may vary due to foreign exchange currency rate. Certain brands based on country of origin may be lower in price such as Korean brand products.

Changi Dollar Vouchers can be used. All Changi Dollar Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. The expiry date of each voucher may be found on the back of the voucher.
6f. Do I need to pay GST (Good and Services Tax) for my purchases when I am an arriving passenger?
According to IRAS (The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore), if the purchases are made at the airport upon arrival, the items become taxable because they are considered to be consumed in Singapore. Only goods which are brought out of Singapore can be zero-rated (no GST). It is a requirement by IRAS that GST amount is reflected on the receipt. In order for our passengers to enjoy purchases that are equivalent to “GST-free” prices even upon arrival into Singapore, The Shilla Duty Free has been providing a 7% discount for travelers who buy at the Departure/Arrival Stores in order to cushion the 7% GST.
Exchange and Refund Policy
Customer can return the unopened, unused or defective merchandise for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date at the The Shilla Duty Free at Changi Airport. Returned merchandise should include the brand packaging and tags and it must be in the same condition as when it was purchased for a credit/refund or exchange to be issued.
